In both cases, rent assistance is provided to recipients who have their own tenancy agreements outside of Civida-managed buildings, but cannot afford the total cost of rent. WebCivida provides over 4,500 homes in the Community Housing program. Community Housing is located throughout the City of Edmonton and is a mix of housing types, including townhouses and multi-unit apartments. The Community Housing program provides subsidized housing to people with lower incomes.
